Christoph Schlingensief has been visiting Burkina Faso in order to find a location for the planned Festspielhaus Africa. Possible locations are also Mozambique and Cameroon. The 48-year-old Schlingensief wants to open a Festspielhaus in Africa, both open to African artists as well as artists from other continents. His project is supported by the Goethe-Institut and the German Foreign Office
